It Had to Be Him is full of delicious secrets. Meg Anderson has secrets. Her gorgeous ex, Josh Granger, has secrets in spades. And the town of Anderson Butte—well, you can imagine how hush-hush a small community can be.

Anderson Butte is just that kind of place. A town where, if your ex comes looking for you and your daughter, he’ll never /5(K). You know a book is gonna be great when you are introduced to a gun-totting, orthopedic-shoe-wielding Granny in the first chapter.

It Had to Be Him is a great mix of romance, second chances, comedy, and a bit of suspense and intrigue thrown in. I really enjoyed how the author set the stage from the beginning of the book with Meg's return to town/5.

When I started this book I had no great expectations. Just a book to while away a long flight. However, it managed to hook me despite having a perhaps somewhat predictable plot. It was an enjoyable light romance and although not literature, ideal for those who either enjoy this genre or want,as I did, a light holiday read/5(K).

It Had to Be Love by Tamra Baumann is the second book in the series so far. The first book, It Had to Be Him I found to be not as good as this one. Usually the first book is a little better, and the second book almost feels like a repeat of the first with a slightly different plot and different main characters, but not this one!!/5.

Finally, the narrator, while not horrible, It had to be him book like she had a head cold throughout the whole book. It made every character sound like they needed a nasal decongestant - stat. 2 people found this helpful Overall 3 out of 5 stars.

A /5(K). Mary Trump, the niece of Donald Trump, is about to let the world know how corrupt and dysfunctional her uncle really is by telling all the family secrets in a new book.
